Crowheart Elementary
One of the two elementary school sites in Fremont County School District #6 is Crowheart Elementary School. Crowheart Elementary is a PK-3 rural school located in Crowheart, Wyoming (pop. 50), and serves 14 (K-3) students. Other than Caucasian, the only statistically significant ethnic sub-group is Native American, which is 66% of the student population. The socio-economic base is low, with 53% of students qualifying for free or reduced lunches. All of our students are either bused to school or provided transportation by their families. In addition to the K-3 setting, the school has a preschool in the afternoon. The Magna award winning mobile preschool classroom also serves children at Crowheart.
